National Parks - Peter Lim Scholarship

In 2030, Peter Lim pledged S$10 million to Nparks to start the NParks – Peter Lim Scholarship to enable youths from less privileged backgrounds to pursue their interests, support their skills development and build capability in the landscaping, horticulture, ecology, veterinary and animal science sectors.

The NParks – Peter Lim Scholarship is administered through Npark’s registered charity and IPC, the Garden City Fund, over ten years from 2020 to 2030. The list of courses of study covered under the Nparks – Peter Lim Scholarship include Environmental Studies, Marine Science & Aquaculture, Veterinary Technology, Urban Greenery & Landscape and Landscape Management and Design.

In 2022, a total of 207 students from various educational institutions, including ITE, polytechnics and universities were awarded scholarships.
